Click on the account type below that suits you best. Write down which one you chose so you’ll have it when you get to the form.
SUPPORTING INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP
You want to be a supporting member,
and you want an account for you alone.
You receive:
- one userID for access to HWA’s Members-Only website
Dues rates are shown in the chart below.
ALL OTHER INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIPS
You want an account for you alone,
and you chose a membership type other than “supporting.”
You receive:
- one listing in the directory (all categories except Supporting Members get one)
- one userID for access to HWA’s Members-Only website

CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP
You want an account for your company with multiple seats for coworkers.
You receive:
- one directory entry (status is automatically “Associate”)
- up to 10 userIDs for access to HWA’s Members Only website
- all official street mail is sent to a single specified address

FAMILY MEMBERSHIPS
You want an account for you and your family members, including up to three people. Each person’s membership status will vary based on their individual qualifications, and you will need to provide proper documentation for each of them. You must choose a category for each member of your family (supporting, associate, academic, affiliate, or active).
Each family member receives:
- a separate listings in the Directory
- a separate userID for access to the HWA Members Only website
- All official street mail will be sent to a single specified address.
Dues
IMPORTANT: Your dues will be automatically prorated when you apply. You will be required to pay them at that time.
The HWA’s dues year is the same as the calendar year, running from January 1 through December 31.
If you join after March 31st, your dues will be prorated by a specific amount, depending on the date of your application. However, prorating applies only to individuals, businesses, and families who have not been members of HWA at any time in the previous two years.
The proration schedule is as follows:
