The HWA is very pleased to announce we will have a booth at the 2013 New York Comic Con.
This is one of the premier fan-oriented conventions of the year in the nation, with more than 115,000 attendees expected during its four-day run from Oct. 10-13. Like it’s bigger sister CC in San Diego, NYCC is no longer just about comics.
Representatives from the publishing, television, and movie industries will also be there, and the various sub-genres of fantasy, horror, sci-fi, and super hero will have a significant presence. This will be an unprecedented opportunity for the HWA to promote itself and its members to an entirely new audience, one that is ripe for horror and dark fiction thanks to the immense popularity of horror-oriented graphic novels, movies, and television programs.
